This is a half-day tour, lasting approximately 3 hours. It takes place in family-friendly kayaks that can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child, making it a stable and comfortable activity for beginners. With an easy level of difficulty, it is suitable for all ages from 6 years old. No prior experience is required, but a normal level of physical fitness is recommended. It is important to know how to swim and feel comfortable in the water, as this excursion takes place in open sea.
Access to the Islet of Vila Franca do Campo
The islet of Vila Franca is a Protected Area, and its preservation is a priority. Depending on the time of year, access may be restricted: during certain months, snorkeling is only allowed outside the islet, and pedestrian access may be prohibited.
This activity is not recommended for people with back problems or for pregnant women. To ensure safety and comfort, each participant should not exceed an individual weight of 100 kg, and the maximum combined weight per kayak is 200 kg.

Tip 2: Consider bringing a lightweight waterproof jacket to protect yourself from wind, sun, or possible rain. Additionally, non-slip rubber shoes offer extra comfort during the tour, as the islet may have slippery rocks.
