Casa das Palmeiras is a unique building located in the center of Ponta Delgada, known for its striking Art Nouveau influences. Built in 1901 and later carefully restored, it reopened in 2017 as a stylish Local Accommodation. Here, modern comfort, advanced technology, and personalized service come together while preserving the traditions and architectural details of the original building.

On the ground floor, you’ll find both the breakfast room and the reception. The rooms are spread across the first and second floors, while on the third and top floor, guests can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city and the sea. However, it’s important to note that the building does not have an elevator.

This house offers 10 rooms, located on the first and second floors, in Standard, Twin, or Superior categories. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and private bathrooms. Additionally, the large windows in each room provide stunning views of the garden or the city, and in some cases, include private balconies for added comfort.

Available Services

Reception: The reception is available daily from 8 AM to 10 PM. It handles check-ins and check-outs and is also ready to provide tips about the island and make taxi reservations, among other services.
Breakfast: All bookings include a delicious breakfast made with fresh, local products and offer the option of requesting a takeaway breakfast if you need to leave before the breakfast service begins. However, this option must be requested the day before.
Free Wi-Fi: Available throughout the common areas and rooms, the free Wi-Fi ensures a fast and stable connection for guests, so they stay connected at all times.
Daily Cleaning: Both the rooms and common areas are cleaned daily, ensuring maximum comfort and hygiene throughout your stay.
Coffee and Tea Station: Available 24 hours a day, this station is offered free of charge to all guests, providing added comfort at any time of day or night.
